Baby Newsletter Week 15

Below is a copy of one of the weekly newsletters my friend, Heather, sent to our friends at work during my pregnancy as the BPA (Baby Personal Assistant):

Hello Baby Scouts! We are at week 15!!! Or maybe 16… Erika can't remember! 

Baby Update:

-Baby is moving amniotic fluid through its nose and upper respiratory tract- helping its primitive air sacs in its lungs develop

-Baby can move all of its joints and limbs

-Although baby's eyes are still fused, it can sense light… so I'll be sticking a flashlight to Erika's belly later today!

-Baby is forming taste buds! Looks like baby is going to like Jimmy Johns!

Erika Update:

-Her nose may be stuffed up - well it is b/c she's been sneezing all morning… thanks to hormones and increased blood flow to your mucous membranes

-Some pregos also suffer nosebleeds - she hasn't had one yet, but be on the lookout

This week's activity:

-Talk to the baby!!! If you want the baby to know your voice, come on over and start talking to it! :-)
